i recently stayed here on my honeymoon and absolutely loved the character of the building. the quirky art deco decor and friendly staff really exceeded my expectations compared to my previous stay in taunton. plus, the garden area was a lovely spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

The breakfast was cooked to order, absolutely fantastic. And they provided fresh ground coffee in the room, a nice touch that I appreciated. Oh, and the room had a good size and comfortable bed, not too much noise from other guests.

Bathroom didn't seem clean enough, with what appeared to be stains on the towel, and I missed having milk for my morning coffee. Heard loud clattering from the kitchen even during the night, which wasn't particularly soothing for sleep. Breakfast clearing up early due to a conference by 9 o'clock felt like a sudden last call, leaving me scrambling for the basics like coffee.
